Fraternities/Sororities

We have several fraternities and sororities in AEGEE-Enschede. They are groups of men or women that have a certain connection to each other and, instead of having the horizontal structure of year clubs, these are structured vertically, which entails students of all ages can be found in these fellowships. In contrast to AEGEE-Enschede, the debating societies of AEGEE-Enschede do hold an introductory period. In order to first give new members the chance to form a year club, first year students are only approached after the 1st of February to join the rest of the members of the fraternities or sororities for drinks.
