European Citizen's Initiative: More than Education

As AEGEE-Europe we are working together on collecting signatures for the European's Citizen Initiative (ECI) with as goal the improvement and coordination of Civic Education in Europe. A little explanantion: the European's Citizen Initiative enables the inhabitants of different member states to have a direct influence on the political agenda of the EU. For the ECI to be accepted it needs to be signed by one million people from at least 7 different member states. If signed, the initiative can be used to propose a new legislation.
