IMPORTANT: AEGEE-Enschede Email & Drive

Due to the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), it will be illegal to have acces to personal data of members (like phone number, e-mail, etc.) through accounts that are not part of the domain of the association. This means that all of the Google Drives that are hosted on the AEGEE-Enschede domain (for example committee files) should only be accessible by e-mail addresses that are hosted on the AEGEE-Enschede domain.

When a new AEGEE-Enschede account is created, a new AEGEE-Enschede e-mail address is also generated. Until now these accounts have been unreachable for many. Because of this future change in regulation we decided to release these addresses to the members. It is necessary that all the shared folders / files on Google Drive (on the AEGEE-Enschede domain) are only shared with e-mail addresses made available for this.

A setting on the control panel will be changed on the 25th of May, which will make it impossible to share folder and files with e-mail addresses outside of the AEGEE-Enschede domain. That is why it will be necessary for all the committees to share their folders and files with their members through the new e-mail addresses.

An automatically generated password has been generated to give everybody access to their new e-mail address. Everybody received an e-mail about this, except for the people that have a hotmail account. If you haven't received an e-mail, contact the Computer Operating Team through cot@aegee-enschede.nl. When you login, you will be asked to change your password. Do this as soon as possible!

You can login on all the usual Google login services, like Google Drive or Gmail. As your username you fill in your AEGEE-Enschede e-mail address (username@aegee-enschede.nl) and as your password the generated password.
