National Youthcouncil

The Dutch National Youthcounsil (DNYC) is the umbrella organization of youth organizations in The Netherlands. At the DNYC, around 30 young people and hundreds of volunteers work at (media)campains and projects for youth. DNYC gives young people the change to show who they are and what they can do; whether that's in The Netherlands or at the UN in New York. DNYC advices governments and other organizations about youth policies. AEGEE-Enschede is, together with almost every other Dutch AEGEE local, a member of the DNYC. This way, the Dutch speaking AEGEE locals have influence on a national level on things that are relevant for AEGEE. Furthermore, we can use a lot of advantages the DNYC offers us. Among these advantages are trainings and workshops. In the long run, AEGEE locals from other countries will also become a member of a National Youthcounsil, if present.
